Let’s Pray…
Almighty Father, help our country. Be gracious to our leaders and our countrymen. Lead us to the things that need to be done. Keep us from the things that shouldn’t be done.
Hold us, mold us to the nation and people you want us to be. Blessed by you.. A blessing to this world. Help us work with one another and not fight each other. Enable us to submit to authority without disobeying and dishonoring you.
Fill the administration and leaders of our nation with your most Holy Spirit that we may discern and be clear about what your will is and submit to it, accomplish it, in you, with you, and through you.
May we not plot things to satisfy our ego, our pride, or protect our own interests. May we have the heart and the will to sacrifice our own interests for the progress and upbuilding of our nation, this generation, and the Filipino generations to come.
May we be a people who acknowledge you as the one true living God. May we fear you, love you with all our heart, soul mind, and strength. May we love you above all and others as ourselves.
May we be sensitive to your guidance, instruction, assurance.. and Heed, Obey, follow you all the days of our lives until eternity in Christ Jesus.
Protect us us from the evil one. Protect us from any evil scheme. Protect our nation. Protect our people.
Almighty Father, may we realize that it’s not in finding who is at fault or who is in the wrong in every crime and situation that will bring healing and peace to our nation.. but in finding You — in repentance, forgiveness, and resolve to make things better for our people, regardless of what becomes of ourselves..
In Jesus name we earnestly pray… Amen.
“I call on you, O God, for you will answer me;
give ear to me and hear my prayer.
Show the wonder of your great love,
you who save by your right hand
those who take refuge in you from their foes.”
(Psalms 17:6-7)
“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:12-13)
“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
