7. Hope in God is not just trusting that He can, as He wills, whisk away our problems in health, finances, or even our country. It also means believing in people touched by His Grace, to do their work the best they can- a doctor to comfort, cure disease, or alleviate symptoms; a business person to provide quality goods and services, employment, and just compensation; a contractor or engineer to build with integrity and without short cuts; an employee to deliver what is expected and even beyond expectations from his post; a leader to lead with dignity and vision, representing the interest of the majority, and more so the helpless, putting their interest before his own; and so on and so forth. Hope in the Lord also means trusting He will provide solutions to man’s problems, including yours, by bringing the BEST in people, including YOU.
